1. This week, the CEO of chip giant AMD, Lisa Su, landed at CES in Las Vegas and delivered a keynote that featured Amit Jain, the CEO of Luma AI. Jain showed off new demos of its AI video tool Ray3 Modify (a tool for detailed adjustments to 4K AI videos), and revealed their AI agents tool that takes directors from script to finished movie faster. World Labs CEO Fei-Fei Li also demoed their latest model that uses AI and a normal smartphone to scan real-world environments, offering the ability to change a hotel interior into an Egyptian palace, or an office lobby into a Tolkien Hobbit lair.
